Love ZoNE79's Hairstyles and Beards, but suffer from impatience on waiting for the Real Time Form Patcher to be
updated? What if you are from the future, and the creator of that plugin is long gone? This
patch is for you!
-
I find the hairs that ZoNE79 made looked amazing, and they added long hairs, which has been a mighty short
supply, not just in Starfield, but in many games in recent years.
So when i found this hairpack, i was happy, sorta. There was one problem. Real Time Form Patcher is needed
for the hairs to work normaly. I dont really mind it, infact i think Real Time Form Patcher is a really
cool piece of tech, but this means it needs to be updated as soon as Bethesda updates their game.
What i remember reading, is that hairs you also used and pass trough the unity doesnt carry over (i think you get
bald).
This patch makes the hair mod more traditional, were it uses the game's Formlist slots.
That means however that any other hairpack that modifies the said formlist cant be used unless patched.
Patching it however souldnt be to hard to fix.
----Installation----
Download and install www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/8364
Drop the esm file into the data folder, and activate the esm with your favorite mod launcher or
via the creation menu. Make sure that my patch is loaded below Starfield_Hair+Beards_Z.esm
Once ingame, go to any enhance, or use the console command: SLM Player 2
and change your hairstyle and/or beard.
----Q&A----
Q: Why make this patch? And why Not just use the Real Time Form Patcher?
A: Technicly 2 questions but here we go. My mods i often make are QOL type, so
this patch makes it more convinient incase the Real Time Form Patcher either hasnt
been updated, or stopped entirerly. Real Time Form Patcher from what i seen has its own
has its own issues, such as not carrying over trough the unity.
Q: Cant you also pack the hair mod with this patch?
A: No, because it is a patch. You sould instead head over to ZoNE79's mod, download and also endorse their work.
---Credits----
