I tried to watch a blu ray movie in my PS4 Pro and it told me I needed to connect to internet to activate blu ray play back. Should I do this or is there a way I can do this offline?

Have you installed the FPKG of the PlayStation 4 Media Player? Try it to play BluRays. I unfortunately have no BluRays for testing.

Ok, I have searched around a bit and you have to do a few things. The BD discs have to connect to the Internet to get updated decryption keys.
1. Start your PlayStation 4.
2. Run the HEN Exploit payload.
3. Run the Update Blocker payload.
4. Change the DNS servers of your Internet connection to normal ones like Googles (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.).
5. Insert the BluRay and start it. It will connect to the Internet to update decryption keys for your console.
6. After that exit the BluRay.
7. Reconfigure your Internet connection again with the Exploit DNS servers.
8. Start the BluRay again and test it.
