Play ps4 disc games on ps5 without internet

Hi Members,
I am on ps5 4.03 firmware version and i donot want to update the firmware version. I am keeping the console offline. Can someone help me understand if i can play ps4 disc games without connecting to internet. Also pls suggest if this applies to ps5 disc games as well.
